Terms of service.

By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any Contently AI service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Contently on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the service.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Contently. Team plan administrators are responsible for the seats they invite and for removing members who leave their organization.

You agree not to use Contently to:

• Generate or distribute spam, malware, or deliberately misleading content.
• Produce content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code.
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without a written agreement.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or seat counts.
• Interfere with the security or availability of the platform for other customers.

We may suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice where it is reasonable to give it.

You own everything you write on Contently, including AI-assisted output. We claim no ownership over your drafts, voice profiles, or published work.

We do not train our base models on your content. We process your content only to deliver the features you use — drafting, suggestions, exports, and search within your own workspace.

You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and process your content strictly for the purpose of operating the service. That license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Current prices and plan limits are listed on the pricing page. Team plans are billed per seat, and seats added mid-cycle are prorated.

Taxes are added where required by law. Failed payments may result in a downgrade to the free tier after a grace period. For cancellations and refunds, see our refund policy.

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the core drafting and API surfaces. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

Support is provided by email for all plans. Team plans include a priority response target of one business day.

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing service would create risk for other customers.

After cancellation, your data remains exportable for 30 days and is then permanently deleted.

Contently is provided on an “as is” basis. AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing anything you publish.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are announced by email and in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
